The Bridge_Listonshiels Apartments, spacious community homes close to woodland walks and suburban amenities.

The Bridge, Listonshiels is set on Bierley Lane in Bradford, approximately 2 ½ miles South of Bradford City Centre with close proximity to Bradford Outer Ring Road and nearby amenities including supermarkets, cinema, restaurants and GP/dental surgeries. On the doorstep is Bierley Woods, providing beautiful accessible walks through its bluebell woods, fishing in the lakes and taking in the local wildlife. The local angling club offers membership to anyone wishing to take a further interest.

Listonshiels Apartments itself offers seven modern refurbished apartments that are substantial in size at more than double the average apartment size (approximately 100 square metres per flat). This provides a high degree of flexibility to meet a variety of support needs in a flexible and person centred way. Each apartment has access to external garden space than again can be individually tailored to the person living there.

Each individual apartment has been newly created to create modern, flexible spacious accommodation to allow people to live successfully in the local community. There are seven apartments, offering individual, self-contained living for seven people in total. Each home has its own front door with larger than average floorspace for one person to live in. This includes a minimum of one bedroom, a lounge, separate kitchen and a bathroom offering a combination of bath, wet room or both.

As part of our environmental assessment, each home can be adapted to meet an individual’s requirements. This allows each person to live in a safe and considered environment that meets their personal circumstances and preferences.

There are individual garden spaces that offer a multitude of different accessible spaces, from hardstanding areas, to enclosed lawns through to the nearby woodland canopies of Bierley Woods. There is also ample parking, as well as separate office, training hub and staff areas, as well as shared communal spaces for the people we support and our team to use for activities and hobbies.

We have a wealth of experience in supporting individuals with uniquely complex and challenging support needs that require a fresh approach. The management team are all ARC trainers. Combined with our BILD accredited support model, and PBS practitioners, we strive to enable, stabilise, improve and exceed expectations for the people we support.
